Free parking is available at the ferry terminal for those who would not need to take their cars to the island.
Do not leave anything unattended at the terminal. It could be confiscated, and you could be arrested, as a homeland security risk!

2010 Mid-Atlantic Chapter Retreat
I am sorry to have to report that our late-spring 2010 retreat has been cancelled due to lack of registrations. Would you please place such a notice on the website. I am encouraging folks to retreat at one of the other sites. We are also exploring a late summer or early fall retreat at a different site that is more affordable.

2010 Heartland Chapter Retreat
May Retreat - Cancelled. I am encouraging folks to retreat at one of the other sites.

All first time retreatants will pay only $50.
We will gather at the retreat site beginning at 6 PM on Sunday evening.
Brothers & Sisters should have supper before arrival,
but we will have evening refreshments available
and our convening prayer that evening.
We will conclude the retreat with breakfast on Friday morning.
As has become our practice in the Heartland, any brother or sister
who wants to bring and prepare an evening meal (Monday through Thursday)
is welcomed to do so. He or she should contact me with a proposal.
The chapter will reimburse reasonable expenses for the meal ingredients.
This has been a wonderful way to share the richness of our cultural traditions --
and we've enjoyed some delicious food, too! We also welcome any "treats," homemade, homegrown, or others that members bring to share.
