The Brothers and Sisters of the Way:

Member Status:

Inquirer: interested in the order and in attending a retreat

Novice: attended at least one retreat, and spends a year’s novitiate in the Order.

Able: During a second retreat, by mutual consent, a Novice may be consecrated a Member. Considered able by regularly paying dues and attending retreats.

Ordinary: pays dues, but has not attended a retreat within five years.

Inactive: fails to pay dues or attend retreats for five consecutive years

Removed: inactive and makes no response when contacted by the Prior. A member also may, upon request, withdraw.

Reinstatement: A former member may, upon written request to the Prior, be reinstated as a Member upon payment of dues for the current year.
